FOOD FIGHT 2022

After a COVID induced hiatus, and an 11th hour 2021 cancellation, our theme this year was “Hospitality Fights Back Mk II”. It was an incredibly successful event with a sellout crowd of 350 guests, excited to celebrate the return of large events to the Hunter.

Guests enjoyed four courses from our guest competing chefs. From Sydney Joshua Raine, Tetsuyas and Alexis Besseau, Restaurant Hubert. Representing our local region was Thomas Waite, Bistro Molines and Michael Portley, Humbug Newcastle.

Michael Portley was voted the winner in a very close contest with his Malfadine, smoked pork rib, mustard greens & cured egg.
